2 community projects rebuild Descent and Descent 2 (MS-DOS, 1995): 0 decompilations, 0 static recompilations and 2 ports, rewrites or clean-room builds.
Can I play Descent and Descent 2 on PC?
Yes. DXX-Redux runs natively on PC, using data from your own copy of the original game.
Is there a Descent and Descent 2 decompilation?
Not one Recomp tracks yet. The projects here are ports and rewrites.
Is it legal?
These projects publish code only. Where a build needs game data, you supply it from a copy of Descent and Descent 2 you own; Recomp never links to game files.
